There are different ways of admission to study at ISM. The admission requirements of our University are decisive for enrolment. Classic access is via the university entrance qualification. If you do not have a “Abitur” (German university entrance qualification) or a subject-related higher education entrance qualification, there are alternative admission requirements with which you can enroll for a distance learning program. Flexibility is very important to us!
⇒ Please note that the teaching language of our Bachelor programs is German (language level B2).
The Abitur is valid across all federal states and is recognized by us as an admission requirement and independent of the grade point average as access to the study program.
Here, admission to the study program is possible if the chosen course of study corresponds to the field of study.
You can be admitted if you have completed at least two years of commercial training followed by three years of commercial work. Otherwise (i.e. if the vocational training is not commercial or the subsequent work is not in the commercial field) you will be admitted to the study program after passing an entrance examination.
With a completed education of at least two years and three years of professional activity, you can gain access to the study program after passing the entrance examination.
or a comparable advanced training course count as a university entrance qualification if you have an intermediate school leaving certificate. Otherwise, we can admit you after you have passed an entrance examination.
