- strategic management competencies for sustainable action
- Communication in an international, cross-functional and interdisciplinary environment

- social-ethical competencies: operational decisions with regard to their social and ecological impact as well as moral objectives
- Media competence: target-oriented research of contents
In addition, there are various specialization subjects to choose from: Digital Marketing, Sustainability, Human Resources, Digital Education, and Business Mediation & Coaching. Alternatively, you can opt for a generalist or interdisciplinary focus and combine elective modules from different areas of study.
The requirements for the Management Master
The master's program in management is aimed at graduates of a bachelor's program with at least 50 ECTS in economics and an interest in working in management positions in the future. The program deals with the question of how to strategically and responsibly manage a company and its employees. You should also be willing to develop personally and be open to new challenges.
Choose your personal specialisation
As you can see from the curriculum, you have the opportunity to select six electives. If you choose at least four of the electives from one of the five specialisation each, we can add the corresponding specialisation to your M.Sc. Management degree certificate. You can currently choose from the following specialisations:
Digital Marketing
You see your future in the digital world and would like to deal with topics such as media psychology, strategy & planning of digital marketing as well as digital communication or e-commerce? Then this specialisation is exactly what you are looking for.
Sustainability
Are you interested in topics related to sustainable business? Then set your focus with the modules from the specialisation "Sustainability", e.g. "Theories & Methods of Global Sustainable Development" and "Introduction to the Management of Sustainable Organisations".
Human Resources
Does your professional future revolve around the people in your company? Then the specialisation Human Resources could be particularly relevant for you. Here you will find modules ranging from "General Psychology" to "Value-oriented Leadership".
Business Mediation & Coaching
Do you see yourself in a mediating role in companies or as a consultant in self-employment? Then the elective modules from this specialisation, e.g. on systemic business coaching or on methods of solution-focused discussion, are just right for you.
Of course, if you simply want to choose your own electives, that's no problem either. In this case, the additional information about the specialisation is simply omitted from the degree certificate. More detailed information on which electives belong to which specialisation can be found in this graphic.
