In order to start your distance learning program, you have to apply and enroll. Then you can use all the learning content, the e-campus, digital courses, the comprehensive support and all other options related to your studies at ISM. After enrolment, you will be a registered student at ISM and we will provide you with everything you need for your successful studies.
The enrolment for ISM distance learning works online. To apply, simply follow the steps below – enrolment at a distance learning university can be done digitally and conveniently from home.
To enroll you need a university entrance qualification. If you meet the entry requirements, then you are sure to get a place! Because in a distance learning program there is no need for an NC - you don't need a certain grade point average or semesters to wait! Studying at a distance learning university is also possible without Abitur (German university entrance qualification). There are alternative ways of enrolling in distance learning program at ISM. We will inform you about this on the page “Studying without a university entrance qualification”.
To enroll for your chosen degree program, you can conveniently use the application form. Enter the required data and simply upload the documents that are important for enrolment, such as certificates, curriculum vitae and professional qualifications.
Have you already completed an apprenticeship, qualified work experience or studied for a few semesters? With the application for recognition of such previous work, your study time will be shortened and the tuition fees will be reduced. You can fill out the application for recognition of such previous work during your application online in the e-campus.
If we have checked your documents positively, you will receive a study contract from us. You are only officially enrolled at the distance learning university when you sign it and send it back to us. You will then receive an enrolment number and a student ID as well as access to all the content of your degree program.
The first three months count as a trial course. If you are not sure whether the distance learning or the chosen program is right for you, you will have enough time to try everything out and get to know ISM even better.
